Just a quick pop in. I'm pooped! They remodeled my school and today was my first day back. At the end of last school year we had to box EVERYTHING up. What a chore. But it's even worse to have to come back and undo it all! Our desks were here and there. Boxes everywhere. Dust everywhere! We're hoping to have our computers hooked up tomorrow. Yeah!
I'm sharing a mosaic from today in the garden. It's thundering out there now so I ran out and got a picture of the sky and a few plants. Not much going on in my garden now. I'm already thinking of Spring, 2013!
My feet hurt, my back hurts, my legs hurt and my tennis elbow hurts! Geez, I'm old! Thanks for stopping by. I'm participating in Mosaic Monday at Little Red House.
A blog about my gardening life. I love my garden and spend hours planning and dreaming. Unfortunately, the vision in my head is hampered by the ability of my hands!

Oh, I know exactly how you feel. Being a teacher myself, I've experienced packing up and unpacking, as well as moving around a school many, many times. I've also survived a re-modelling and several extensions during my time at this school. I just want to rush over there and make you a cup of tea, coffee ... or perhaps something stronger. Hopefully, the job will be done soon. Loved your mosaic. The Caladium is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI love looking up at the sky! Beautiful photos make a lovely mosaic! I hope you're getting some rest tonight!
ReplyDeleteFirst, you're not old until you're twice the age you are today...you have a long way to go. Second, your post is grand!!! Beautiful pictures!! Have a wonderful week! Cathy
ReplyDeleteMy friend's DIL teaches and she has been busily getting ready to return to class too. It's amazing how much dust can accumulate in such a short time span.
ReplyDeleteI love your stormy skies and garden shots. Skies captivate me.
School so soon! Yikes! I retired from teaching 8 years ago... now that is old!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your mosaic and God bless you this year with your class!!
Great pictures! I get sore whenever I work in the yard. My back mainly. I do what I can though. Except when it is hot then I lose the motivation to go out there.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!

AS a retired teacher I can empathize with you. My feet hurt so badly the first two weeks of school I could have cried. It makes going home to your lovely garden much nicer. Hang in there. It will pass. xo Jenny
ReplyDeleteYour photos are lovely! I can't believe you're getting ready for school already! I know you're exhausted! it's no fun to have to box everything up! Get some rest and have a great school year!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. You have a lovely mosaic. That sky looks ominous. I hope that your school year goes well, and that the back to school hubbub calms down soon.
