Thanks for stopping by. I hope you'll leave a comment as I love them! Have a great weekend.
I am participating in Skywatch Friday I hope you'll drop by and look at all the beautiful photos.
A blog about my gardening life. I love my garden and spend hours planning and dreaming. Unfortunately, the vision in my head is hampered by the ability of my hands!
This is a post about reversing some things I've said...like I like rain. Oh sure, I like rain just fine unless I'm walking through ...
Thinking about garden centers. Wonderful. Up here that maybe in late April but then the work begins, doesn't it. Love the smell of dirt and the feel of planting. I put tulip bulbs in patio pots this Fall. First time, and put chicken wire over them to keep the squirrels out. They eat the bulbs, deer eat the flowers and leaves. If they actually make it, they will be protected more by the catio fence we have for Precious, only in warm weather.
ReplyDeleteI hope the squirrels don't get to your tulips. They are such irritating little creatures. Deer are a big problem around here. I live on a heavily wooded lot and deer tromp through the garden and eat everything they can.
DeleteAt our latitude we have little longer to wait, but spring is on the way. Something to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteI feel sure we'll have some more cold weather, Maybe not snow weather, but cold. I'm really enjoying this spring like temperatures.
DeleteThat is such a beautiful image! I love looking up at trees. We have had an ice storm go through our area today but it makes the trees appear magical. It was in the 50s here yesterday (northern VIrginia), then this and next snow in a few days. Spring is on my mind lately :) I am looking forward to a trip to the garden center.
ReplyDeleteI love looking at the sky through winter trees too. Ice storms do leave the trees beautiful. And now you have snow coming. I really hope we have at least one more winter event. But it really feels like spring, todays temps near 80*F
DeleteI love trees...what a pretty photo...might be my imagination but maybe I see a wee bit of green specks on the trees...

Thanks! I think you're seeing the pine trees. We don't have any leaves emerging yet, but not long! I either want winter weather or spring weather. Would love to have one more snow event.
DeleteAwesome sky shot with trees juxtaposed against the sky ~ thanks,

Thank you Carol, I love photos of the bare branches against the winter gray skies. Thanks for stopping by. Take care.
DeleteYou have a lot of trees in your back yard. I can't wait to see what they look like when they get leaves in warmer weather! I have never heard of soil conditioner! Do you have many flowers?
ReplyDeleteHi Ginny, I used to have a beautiful perennial garden full of pretty flowers. But the last few years I've been battling a bad back which has made it impossible to continue the big garden. I moved to a few pots last year. My son wants to try to get the garden back so we have plans of me telling him what to do and him doing it...can't beat that!!! I'll post some pictures soon of what the garden looked like once upon a time.
DeleteMost of our garden centers won't even open until April, but it's still a good time for us to dream about spring. When it comes to you, send some our way, please? (my Skywatch post will post tomorrow morning).
ReplyDeleteit wouldn't surprise me if our garden centers already have hardy plants like violas out. I need to go check it out. I'll try to blow some warmth your way, lol.
DeleteI love the light on the trees that you captured. This time of year it is still cold but the sun is higher and I think the light on the bare trees is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteyes, I love the bare branches against a winter sky. The light makes it even better. Thanks for dropping by and commenting. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThe trees are appearing very sleek and attractive here
ReplyDeleteThank you. I love looking out my window at the woods behind me. And when a storm comes from that direction it's really pretty.

DeleteSpring is going to have to wait awhile here!
ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying our spring-like temperatures. Today I think we might have reached 80 degrees! But I expect colder temperatures are on their way.
DeleteI wish I was near spring! we're due for another storm this weekend. Sigh!
ReplyDeleteAnother storm? You poor thing. I am enjoying our spring-like temperatures. Yours will come though!
DeleteI went to the hardware store the other day and loved seeing the seeds out. I didn't buy any. Thought about it but didn't. I did though start another batch of sprouts in the kitchen. Radish. Soooo yummy. Cheers, Ivy.
