Yesterday my daughter and I had a girls day out.
We went to our favorite coffee shop, Leaf and Bean, for hot chocolate and a delicious cinnamon roll. The coffee house was packed and we couldn't find a place to sit so we walked the two blocks back to our car in the freezing cold wind. The car felt like a haven after that cold walk and we enjoyed our hot drinks and cake in it's warmth.
After we finished with our hot chocolate we decided to go to Waffle House for lunch. Jeez, every where is so expensive now! We had a lovely lunch and headed home afterwards. That finished our girls day out and we spent the rest of the afternoon watching Seinfeld.
