A MISH-MASH

Hellooooooo, and how do you do on this fine Tuesday morning? I'm happy to say we are getting a little rain and milder temperatures. But the cold weather will be returning with a vengeance after these few days of pleasing temps. Yesterday son and I gathered all the kindling we'll be needing for our fires. We are ready for the Brrrrr - bring it on!

Look at these adorable Christmas doggie treats Sally bought. Arie is waiting patiently for hers. 

We put up this adorable little tree. I have a collection of tiny ornaments that look so cute on the tree.

Do you know what those white splotches are? I was very excited when I found them. They are the droppings of an owl. I was hoping to see him but he was no where to be spotted.

A little heart I made from chicken wire. I loved it so much. Somehow it got tossed. Probably was picked up accidently with a bunch of leaves. I still have some chicken wire so I hope to make another one.

I don't have much on tap for today. I'll see the little girl I'm mentoring and that's about it. A little present wrapping sounds like a good idea. I bought some very pretty wrapping paper the other day. I even got ribbon for it! That's a big deal for me. I bet no one even notices - I'll be sure to point out how pretty their package looks. I'm not expecting much fan-fare. Alas, the life of a mother.

Yesterday was the anniversary of  John Lennon's  assassination. What a tragedy for the world.
