These have been quiet, beautiful, breezy days...the calm before the storm. For a little while, Irma looked like it was heading straight for Newnan, Georgia, but has now moved a bit west. We'll mostly get some strong winds and a lot of rain. In case our power goes out, I've collected a wheelbarrow full of sticks that we can burn to heat water or make some baked potatoes (never done this before in the summer - only during ice storms!). We started off sunny, but the cloud bands started moving in late this afternoon. Our weather should start sometime late tonight/tomorrow a.m. School has already been cancelled for two days. I've got a nice stitching project to keep me busy. Prayers for those in Florida who are directly in it's path.
A blog about my gardening life. I love my garden and spend hours planning and dreaming. Unfortunately, the vision in my head is hampered by the ability of my hands!
