Home loving, fall crafting and birthday celebrating week. Wonderful days and nights full of so much love and affection. I made an arrangement, strung some dried leaves for a wreath and became a year older. It doesn't get much better than this! My husband and children don't give cards for my birthday or for Mother's Day, they write me love notes. I think I look forward to this more than anything. My sweet husband custom ordered the birthday cake...lots of flowers. Yep, I'm an icing girl. No homemade cake for me!
Today it's cloudy and a little rainy, and you know I love that too! What a great way to end a perfect week! I hope you're having a great Saturday, thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Birthday Leslie!! I think your love notes are a wonderful idea and so personal. We do something similar and I've saved them all. I've always thought of these notes as my real gift and I'm sure you feel that way too.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you,

Belated Happy Birthday, Leslie. Celebrating with family is just the best.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a Happy Birthday! Store-bought cake with lots of icing is my favorite, too. Missed you at Ellen's LHS Girls' Night but hope to see you another time!
