Hello Friends, how have your days been? Mine have been quite lovely. A little rain this week, which I love. Mostly just misty and cold. Cold by my standards may seem silly to some. Our highs have been in the 40's. but with the dampness it feels really cold. On my way to church this morning it was very foggy. That really made me happy!
We had quite a lovely sunset yesterday. All peachy and yellow. Very pretty.
Hope your day has some lovely sherbert colored skies. Thanks for dropping by.

Two very different photos; both beautiful in their own way. I love fog; it is soft and silent.
ReplyDeleteI like that description of fog, "soft and silent".
DeleteI like your photos today! We started with snow and clouds, ended with blue sky but oh, so cold! Have a lovely week!
ReplyDeleteOur clouds have looked like snow clouds, but, alas, all we got was rain.
Deletei also LOVE rain!! i love when the house gets dark, in the middle of the day...pj's and brownies!! the fog is so pretty to photograph!! the weather and nature sure does provide for some really gorgeous photo opportunities!!

DeleteThe foggy photo is fantastic, you can feel the cold & damp!
ReplyDeleteYou really can!
Delete'Sherbet coloured' is the perfect description. I like fog, so long as I don't have to drive in it.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't see the traffic lights until I was pretty close!
DeleteDon't often see a real yellow sunset.
ReplyDeleteThe photo doesn't do it justice!
DeleteI love a good foggy mornings. Both photos really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Denise!
DeleteAmbiance captured beautifully!

DeleteLike you, I enjoy cloudy weather and rain. I blame it on my English blood! To me, there's just something cozy about it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I have some English blood in me, too.
DeleteI love this poem about fog by
ReplyDeleteCarl Sandburg
1878 –1967
The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.
Hugs Cecilia
