psssst......I have a confession, and I'm a little embarrassed. I'll whisper it to you -
I still have my Christmas wreath up on my front porch. It's not because it was just so pretty I couldn't take it down. That would be okay and I would be proud of Quirky Me. No, unfortunately, I've just procrastinated and pretended I didn't notice it. But finally, I decided ENOUGH! Get that thing down! So out I went to bring my house completely to the, "I'm really done with Christmas" stage...but wait! What's that??? My first thought was what a mess the wind had made, but then I realized it wasn't the wind. And I kind of had to smile because it seems she's a little messy with her housekeeping just like me! She picked the perfect house to build
her house.
Welcome little friend! I hope you have healthy babies. I'll have to keep Kitty away, but I already have a plan for that!
I am participating in
Mosaic Monday and Outdoor Wednesday this week.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a wonderful Monday!
What a fantastic surprise! My Christmas wreath is down, but I too have something similar to confess. There is still a Christmas arrangement in my urn by the front door. There is no point in whispering my secret. I live on a busy street and everyone has seen my shame! The wooden stars are still frozen into position amongst the pine cones and evergreen branches. I really must get out there soon and do something about it!
ReplyDeleteOk, my wreath is down but I have a valentines wreath up which needs to come down. And I still have a planter in front with holiday greens, mine were frozen too, yikes!!! Weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow so I think it is time to get them down… Laura
ReplyDeleteOh wow how sweet is that. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy Valentine's Day wreath needs to come down.

That is soooo cool. I love it. Can't wait to see how the little nest develops. Keep us posted.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun surprise. This is such a cute post.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful surprise....:))
ReplyDeleteHa! I love it
ReplyDeleteI will keep your secret, looks like a St. Patrick's Day wreath to me! Same thing happened to my sister on her front door. Warning! Your door will need a wash with the hose after the tweedy pies move out.......but worth it when you see the little tweets. I see we are neighbors, state neighbors anyway. I visited your last post too. What a beautiful garden! Happy Spring.

Hahaha, don't be shy about your ornaments. I still an "everlasting" icicles hanging at some houses!
ReplyDeleteI have read your post about your flowers and gardens. You have a green thumb, very lovely!
That's amazing that the bird could come so close to the house to build its nest.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the babies!
Oh, how sweet! I wish I would find a nest on my wreath! Yes, my Christmas wreath is still up on the front door too. I always leave it up until Easter. On the Island, we get away with it because we still have snow in March. Thanks for your visit and have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
